What does the word Yahgie mean?

Yahgie (pronounced Yah-Gee) elegant gathering.

Who is Yahgie?

Yahgie is a textile and home accessories company that was established in 2009. The company designs, and sells interior decoration textiles and other accessories under the Yahgie brand.

Where is Yahgie based?

Yahgie is an American company based in South Florida.

Who designs Yahgie Textiles?

Petergaye S. Kisielewicz designed all Yahgie textile prints.

Is Yahgie an eco-friendly company?

Yahgie try to be eco-friendly as possible by offering made to order products to reduce the need for storage, wasteful printing, and energy consumptions. We encourage communication by email, and consider the environment before printing. 100% Organic cotton is offered on all textile prints to create a healthier and cleaner product, which benefit the planet. We care about our carbon footprint that is why we live where we work. Fabrics are from American mills and we print right here in the United States. Our company textiles are printed digitally. Digital printing does not need any setup work, so it is more economical, involving less waste of the materials and use less printing time, which safes energy. Every day we are trying to make little steps to be more eco-friendly.

What is made to order?

Design and made for a particular individual. Sometimes referred to as make to order (MTO), Products sold by Yahgie are made to order, this reduce the need for storage, wasteful printing and energy consumption.

What is readymade?

Made or prepared in advance of need. Mass produced of items-off the shelf.

Do you give back to your community?

The art of giving and sharing is something that we all must do as human beings. We must do our part to give back to our future generations and community. Giving back is a powerful way of inspiring and promoting positive change in our world, which is why giving back, is so important to Yahgie. Yahgie is proud to announce that $1 of every purchase made will be donated to a charity of our choice. Charities we donate to are, Habitat for Humanity, Red Cross, Women for Women, Food for the Poor and Earth Share.

Privacy & Payment Options

Is your online payment process secure?

Yes! Our payment processing is secured using an SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) Certificate, which encrypts your information. Payments using this method are more secure than using your credit card in a public store!

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major Credit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express) as well as PayPal. We currently do not accept Money Orders and Cashiers Checks. Do NOT send cash! Please be advised, we cannot be responsible for lost payments in the mail.

How long until I receive my order?

All items are made-to-order, and are usually received in 3-4 weeks. If we have the item on hand, it is usually shipped out within 3 business days after payment has been cleared. International shipments (about 10-16 day in transit) and United states (about 6-10 days in transit)

Do you charge sales tax on orders?

Yes, state sales tax of 6.50% is applied to all purchases shipped within Florida.

Returns and Shipping Questions

What are your shipping rates?

All shipping charges are determined by weight, of the items purchased, the method of shipping, and the destination address. Please email us at sales@yahgie.com for specific information.

Do you offer expedited shipping?

Yes, whenever possible, we offer expedited shipping. We will confirm the estimated shipping date and note whether or not we can offer expedited shipping when we confirm the order via e-mail. Express shipping charges are the customer responsibility. Expedited shipping requires additional postage, upon receipt of the order.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes! Shipping and handling for international orders varies. All shipping charges are determined by weight, of the items purchased, the method of shipping, and the destination address. Please email us at sales@yahgie.com for specific information.

What is your return policy?

In the event of any questions or problems with your order, or if the product received was defective or damaged, please contact our Customer Service Department within 30 days of receipt. We will make every effort to resolve the problem as quickly as possible. Customer Service can be reached at sales@yahgie.com Monday through Friday 9 am - 5 pm Eastern Standard Time. Can I exchange my order?

Yes, you may exchange the product (s) within 30 days from the day you have received it. It must be shipped back with the original packaging. Shipping charges will be handles by the purchaser.

How do I cancel my order?

You can cancel your order by logging into your account and navigating to "Order History.” Alternatively, you can e-mail sales@yahgie.com with your order number, name, and a detailed description why you want to cancel the order. If you wish to cancel your order, please inform us within 24hrs after placed order.

Will my shipping charges be refunded if I return my items?

No. Shipping charges will not be refunded.

Pillows & Cares

What is the best way to clean and care for your pillows?

We do not recommend putting pillows in washer or dryer. Our fabrics require no special care.

Are your pillows insert hypoallergenic?

No! Our pillow insert are poly-filler non allergenic

What is Non-allergenic?

Not causing an allergic reaction

What is Hypoallergenic?

Cause or claimed to cause fewer allergic reactions.

Do you use feather inserts in your pillows?

No! We are animal lovers so we prefer not to use features.

Questions about Yahgie fabrics

Can I use Yahgie printed artwork from the fabric to reproduce on other items?

No. The printed artwork on the fabrics is protected by copyright.

Do you sell wholesale?

Yes!

How can I become a reseller for Yahgie fabrics?

If you would like to be a reseller, please fill out the wholesale form or email us at sales@yahgie.com. Upon Verification of information, we will contact you if your account has been approved.

What if I would like to see and feel the fabric before I make a purchase?

We can send you an 8”x8” swatch for a small fee of $10.00+ shipping.

Can I custom order my fabric?

YES! All fabrics can be custom size and color. 

How are fabric priced?

We sell and price fabric by the yard.

What is the process for printing on fabric?

Our printing process varies by fabric. Polyester fabrics require a design to be imaged on a special paper and then transferred into the fabric using a very hot press. It's kind of like an iron... but H-U-G-E and really hot. Other fabrics are printed using pigment-based inks that are printed directly onto the fabric with no special after printing process.

Is the printing permanent?

Yes. The inks used for printing the fabric are designed not to fade, run, or smudge. They will wear with the fabric over time the same as any cotton or polyester fabric you would buy at a store.

Does the fabric require special handling in the wash?

Our fabrics require no special care and feeding. Treat them as you would treat your other fabrics, but know that ours will be more forgiving. They are lightfast, colorfast, and will not run, smudge, or fade.

Do your fabrics comply with the safety standards?

Yes they do. Neither the fabrics nor ink contains any lead, and they are non-fattening (though we don't recommend you eat them). We can provide MSDS data (for a small charge) if you require that.

Do you offer bulk-pricing discounts for fabrics?

Yes we do. Send us an e-mail at sales@yahgie.com, and we'll send you our bulk volume discount information.

Is your fabric process “green”?

There are chemicals involved, but they are water based, not solvents. All are disposed of in compliance with all government regulations.

Are your fabrics from mills in the USA?

All of our fabrics are from American mills with the exception of the fleece and suede, which has been shipped from China.

What kind of inks do you use?

We use soluble inks for our fabric printing. The designs are not woven into the fabric, as they would be for large volume fabric manufacture. Such a process would be cost prohibitive for small yardage quantities. The good news is the digital printing process simulates woven and printed fabrics with color reproduction that is equally dazzling.

What type of printing method do you use to print your fabrics?

We use a digital printing method. Digital printing benefits not only in terms of time and efficiency, but also increases your choices of color, surfaces, and effect.

What is the advantage of digital printed textiles?

Compared with screen-printing, Digital printing does not need any setup work, so it is more economical, involving less waste of the materials and the printing times. It is also a faster process, which can help us save time. Digital printing quality often far exceeds the quality of traditional printing methods in color matching and range, and durability of the colors when exposed to light. Digital printing benefits not only in terms of time and efficiency, but also increases your choices of color, surfaces and effect.

What is screen-printing?

Screen-printing is a stencil method of printmaking in which a design is imposed on a screen of silk or other fine mesh, with blank areas coated with an impermeable substance, and ink is forced through the mesh onto the printing surface. It is also known as "silk screening" or "serigraphy.”

Do you offer fabric swatches?

Customers can request a printed color swatch. We offer an 8”x8” color swatch for a small fee of $10.00+ shipping. To receive swatches of our fabrics email us at sales@yahgie.com.

Wallpaper questions

How do I order Wallpaper?

All wallpapers are custom order. Please fill out our contact form or email us at sales@yahgie.com   including width, height and the area in which the wallpaper will be placed.
